O Sangue dos Penitentes is a dark fantasy comic about a renegade knight seeking to restore his household’s honor. After being defeated in battle, he becomes mystically bonded with a mythical spirit. Throughout the story, he must learn to cooperate with this spirit and confront supernatural creatures.

For the cover, the goal was to convey a fantastical tone. I chose to create a widescreen composition so that the main character and his spirit would be centered on the front cover, while the dark environment extends into the back cover — highlighting the protagonist and foreshadowing the dark fantasy themes and the perilous journey ahead.
